Join me for a choice of classes you can take from the comfort of your own home. You can choose from Beginners Yoga, Hatha Yoga and Restorative Yoga.
Beginners Yoga Classes
You will be guided through gentle, Hatha yoga postures and how to adapt these postures to suit your body or any specific issues you may have.
You will experience breathing techniques, known as pranayama, as well as meditation practices and relaxation.
My intention is to give you the best grounding in how to practice yoga safely and positively, and to give you great tools to help you relax and let go of any stresses and tension.
Hatha Yoga Classes
After being guided through a warm-up, you will focus on specific postures to help alleviate any aches and pains you may have.
Throughout the session you will work with pranayama (breathing techniques), meditation and relaxation.
My aim is to help unravel any tension, anxiety, stress or discomfort affecting your mind, body and soul.
These classes are suitable for beginners as well as experienced yoga practitioners and take place on Wednesday and Thursday evenings.
Restorative Yoga Classes
You will experience a combination of Restorative Yoga and Nidra Yoga practices, helping you unwind and release the stresses of life.
You will use props, e.g. bolsters and cushions, to avoid strain on the body. It is designed to allow yogis to practice, no matter your physical condition.
You will perform postures that promote spinal mobility and focus on slowing down and opening your body. This is achieved through passive stretching, deep breathing and long holds of supported, modified postures.
These classes are normally monthly, but I am currently trialling running them fortnightly due to demand.
